The Bahá’í Community of Canada is made up of some 35,000 Canadians representative of Canada’s rich cultural and ethnic diversity. Canadian Bahá’ís live in every province and territory and are spread among some 1000 localities. Their economic and social backgrounds are as diverse as their cultural and religious heritage.

In thousands upon thousands of locations around the world, the teachings of the Bahá’í Faith inspire individuals and communities as they work to improve their own lives and contribute to the advancement of civilization.

More information about the Bahá’í Faith and its Founder, Bahá’u’lláh, can be found at www.bahai.org .  An excellent video concerning the Baha'i Faith can be seen on the Vision TV site:  The Baha'is ( Note: includes advertising).

The Halifax Bahá’í community was established in 1942 and has been contributing to the development of the Halifax Region for 75 years. Today there are Bahá’ís in virtually every part of the city; living in and contributing to their neighbourhoods through charitable acts and service.

The Bahá’ís of Halifax offer to all: Classes for the Moral Development of Children; Programs for the Spiritual Empowerment of Junior Youth and Youth; Study Circles for Spiritual Development and Service to others; and Devotional Gatherings.
